Waller is a nationwide law firm based in Nashville that has grown substantially in their business, but quietly in their field. This presented an opportunity to realign their brand from a strategic and visual standpoint.
Challenge
With multiple areas of expertise, Waller had many authors of brand messaging spread throughout their offices. FoxFuel’s mandate was to bring all areas of practice under one uniform message and increase national awareness through brand consistency.
Approach
FoxFuel’s strategy in unifying the message was first to go straight to the sources of insight, both inside and outside of the firm. This was accomplished through research interviews of team members, current and former clients, and competitors in the market. These insights led FoxFuel to develop the overall brand message of “Driving business, practicing law.”, as well as language that caters to the areas of healthcare, real estate, private equity, and finance law.
Solution
FoxFuel reengineered all aspects of the Waller brand around the new messaging. This included print ads, out-of-home placements, digital banners, website design, email communications, proposal templates, collateral, event materials, and launching a podcast series to help share their unique knowledge to a wider audience. FoxFuel also created a library of on-brand imagery for current and future use.
“The firm launched a new strategic plan, making it an opportune time to refresh our brand to best reflect our strategy and our position in the market. We selected FoxFuel to lead us through the process – research, brand direction and development, and all the related marketing materials. They quickly jumped in and learned our organization, our business and our people. Subsequently, they have become an extension of our marketing team, offering up strategy and support on an ongoing basis. We’ve worked with a number of vendors over the years, and FoxFuel stands out for being invested in our success and proactive in pushing us forward.”
